Travel has been an essential aspect of my life from the very beginning. My Belgian father conducted work overseas, and so my childhood summers were often spent in Europe.
In my 20’s, I lived in Paris and Florence, and I spent my free time exploring the rest of Europe from there. I earned a Master’s Degree in Art History and Pursued a PhD while also working in museums and auction houses. I then transitioned to a career in manufacturing, which took me to more distant locales across the globe, including Asia and India. Travel was a personal pursuit, as well, as I rode horses through Patagonia, hiked across New Zealand, and skied through much of Europe and North America.
Through Weindling World Travel, I draw on my decades of extensive travel experience in addition to my network of vetted travel partners to craft unique and always personal vacations for my clients. A born-and-bred New Yorker, my style is direct and honest as I guide my clients to the best possible travel experiences.
Working with me may come with surprises (the good kinds, I promise). With my deep travel knowledge and contacts, I’m apt to recommend places and experiences that are hidden gems not often found on the “Top 10” lists—but that I trust will more than meet your family’s travel expectations.
Whether you’re planning your family’s next getaway or you’re looking to leave the kids at home this time, my team and I would be honored to design your in-depth itinerary—as we tailor it all to you.
Traveling as a family may present challenges—but, when done right, the rewards are deep and everlasting.
My job is to minimize the travel challenges, so the moments you remember are the moments of shared discovery. From mapping out the logistics for you to lining up immersive private tours and experiences, I make family travel not only possible, but enriching, effortless, and enjoyable.
Why work with us instead of booking the trip on your own? It comes down to how elevated your travel experience becomes when you leave it in expert hands.
Skiing in Zermatt as a family, we arrived at our lunch destination, a mountain hut with gourmet food, where we sat on sheepskin-lined benches before continuing our run down the mountain.
During our day at sea on a private yacht, when my son needed some space, the captain inflated a doughnut float and tied it to the back of the boat so that my son could lounge in peace.
Ziplining and canyoning down waterfalls gleefully with my young son, despite his small stature, thanks to the guides’ careful and discreet support.
Sitting on the beach sipping wine while watching my son kick around a soccer ball with local kids in the sand—it doesn’t get more “immersive” than that.
Wandering through the farmer’s market with my son in a stroller and buying the most expensive raspberries I’ve ever seen—which ended up joyously smeared all over his face.
